This document contains the Terms & Conditions, Returns Policy, and Cookies Policy for Viking Tennis, a racket stringing service and an online tennis shop based in The Republic of Ireland.

Terms & Conditions - Stringing Service

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the collection, delivery, and stringing services ("Services") provided by Viking Tennis Ireland "we," "our," or "us"). By using our Services, you ("the Client" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Service Scope

We provide collection and delivery of rackets for stringing to the Client's home, club, or other agreed location. Rackets must be ready for collection at the agreed time and location. Delivery will be made to the same or otherwise agreed address.

3. Service Options

Standard Service: Rackets will be restrung and returned at a maximum 48 hours later than they were collected.

Express Service: Rackets will be collected between 7:00am and 8:30am, re-strung and returned the same day before 6:00pm.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon delivery unless otherwise agreed. Late or failed payments may result in withholding of the racket until payment is received.

5. Vouchers and Promotions

Vouchers, discount codes, or promotional offers ("Vouchers") are valid for a single use only, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Vouchers must be presented at the time of booking or collection. They cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders.

Only one Voucher may be used per transaction. Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. Expired Vouchers will not be accepted.

We reserve the right to withdraw or refuse any Voucher if fraud, misuse, or abuse is suspected. Vouchers may not be combined with other discounts, offers, or loyalty schemes unless explicitly stated.

6. Client Responsibilities

The Client must ensure the racket is fit for stringing (no major cracks or frame damage) and must provide accurate collection and delivery details. Any special stringing instructions (tension, string type, etc.) must be clearly provided at collection.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Collections or deliveries can be rescheduled up to 2 hours in advance without charge. Cancellations made on online orders made after shipment must be processed as refunds.

8. Liability

We take reasonable care when handling rackets but accept no responsibility for pre-existing damage or weaknesses in the frame. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (traffic, extreme weather, courier disruption, etc.).

Once a racket has been returned, we are not responsible for any damage, breakage, or issues that occur after pickup or delivery.

9. Disputes

Any concerns must be raised at the time of delivery.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Republic of Ireland.

Terms & Conditions - Online Shop

1. General Information

Viking Tennis is an online retailer of tennis equipment, apparel, and accessories. We are based in Ireland and comply with applicable Irish and EU consumer laws.

2. Orders & Contract Formation

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. A binding contract arises once we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse orders if items are unavailable, payment is not authorised, or errors exist in descriptions/pricing.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are in Euro (€), inclusive of VAT. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout. We accept all major debit and credit cards.

4. Vouchers and Promotions

5. Shipping & Delivery

We deliver within The Republic of Ireland. Delivery times are estimates only. Risk of loss passes once the order is delivered.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)

You have 14 days from receipt of goods to cancel without reason. Goods must be returned unused and in original packaging at your expense. Refunds are issued within 14 days of receipt of returned items.

7. Returns & Refunds

Faulty or incorrect products may be returned for a replacement or refund in line with Irish consumer law.

8. Product Information

We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee colours and product descriptions match perfectly.

9. Limitation of Liability

Nothing affects your statutory rights. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

We comply with GDPR. See our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

Irish law applies and Irish courts have jurisdiction.

12. Amendments

We may update these Terms & Conditions. Updates apply to future orders.

Returns Policy - Online Shop

1. Cooling-Off Period

You have 14 days from receiving goods to cancel. Goods must be unused, in original packaging, and returned at your cost (unless faulty). Refunds are issued within 14 days of receipt of returned items.

2. Returns Process

Contact us at steen@vikingtennis.ie with your order number. Use a tracked service. You are responsible for return shipping unless goods are faulty.

3. Refunds

Refunds are made within 14 days of receipt of returned items to the original payment method.

4. Exclusions

Customised products and hygiene-sensitive items (e.g., sweatbands, opened grips) cannot be returned unless faulty.

5. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If faulty/damaged, contact us with details/photos. We will arrange replacement, repair, or refund under Irish consumer law.
